Overview
When using CloudRetailer in a multi-store environment, it may occasionally be required to settle gift card activity between locations. No matter if this need is driven by a mixed ownership structure, or just by a desire to separate gift card liabilities for accounting purposes, CloudRetailer has functionality built in to support the process. This functionality is available in versions of CloudRetailer greater than 2.18.5.
Procedure
- Log into your CloudRetailer back office using your CloudRetailer credentials.
- Under the Gift Card section of the Admin menu, select Gift Card Settlement.
- Enter a date range between which dates you will complete the settlement process.
- Press the Calculate button
- The system will calculate any outstanding balances for Transactions completed at a location using a Gift Card liability from a different location.
