Overview
Here's how to manually adjust the cost or quantity of a product without having to create a purchase order.
Please note, if you're creating a new product, you'll have to save the product before you'll be able to make adjustments to the cost or the quantity.
Procedure
Cost Adjustment
- Log into the back office website.
- Navigate to the product you would like to adjust.
- Scroll down to the Product Location Data section.
- Click on the blue number to the right of the Average Cost.
- Choose the location you want this to apply to.
- Click the radio button next to Change cost to:
- Type the new cost into the white box.
- If you need to set a future or previous date for this cost change, you can adjust the Movement date to the date and time of your choice.
NOTE: This will move the adjustment to the date and time you change it to. What this means is, if you change the date to a month ago, it will no longer show as adjusted for the current day's date but instead will show up in the list for a month ago. - Click Save in the bottom left corner
Quantity Adjustment
- Log into the back office website.
- Navigate to the product you would like to adjust.
- Scroll down to the Product Location Data section.
- Click on the blue number to the right of On Hand.
- Choose the location you want this to apply to.
- Click the radio button next to Change quantity to:
- Type the new quantity into the white box.
- You can add an Adjust reason if you would like. It's NOT required but is recommended.
- Click Adjust.
- If you need to set a future or previous date for this cost change, you can adjust the Movement date to the date and time of your choice.

Cloud Retailer Version 1.16.22 or higher is required to use this feature.
