Overview

   This article will detail how to handle a gift card product not found message at the POS for Cloud Retailer.  


Procedure

You've configured gift card processing and when you go to click the button at the POS to sell a gift card item you get the following error: "There are no items to search, you must add items to your location first."


This is due to the gift card product being configured improperly.  
  • It's "Product Type" needs to be set as a "Voucher/Gift card".  See Image 1.1
  • It needs to be active for that location. See Image 1.2
You should also verify that the Tax is set properly. Typically selling a gift card is not taxed. See Image 1.3
