In order for Cloud Retailer to operate properly in your environment you'll need to open up the following ports on your firewall:
On any computer accessing the back-office app (browser-based) or the Windows-based POS client application, you'll need to have TCP outbound ports 80 and 443 allowed to companyname.cloudretailer.com where companyname is the name of your specific instance. Additionally, you'll need both TCP and UDP port 53 to your DNS server.
When making use of our integrated Credit Card processing, you will need to allow additional outbound ports open. Please see Card Defender Network Requirements for full details.
Lastly, for our team to support Cloud Retailer on your local computers, you'll have to
allow outbound ports 443 and 8041. For more information see Remote Access Expectations and Details.
