Gift Card Settlements

        When using CloudRetailer in a multi-store environment, it may occasionally be required to settle gift card activity between locations. No matter if this need is driven by a mixed ownership structure, or just by a desire to separate gift card liabilities for accounting purposes, CloudRetailer has functionality built in to support the process. This functionality is available in versions of CloudRetailer greater than 2.18.5.


  1. Log into your CloudRetailer back office using your CloudRetailer credentials.
  2. Under the Gift Card section of the Admin menu, select Gift Card Settlement.
  3. Enter a date range between which dates you will complete the settlement process.
  4. Press the Calculate button
  5. The system will calculate any outstanding balances for Transactions completed at a location using a Gift Card liability from a different location.
