Zebra Printer ZD410 connected to Print Server

Overview

Please see below steps If you need to install a Zebra Printer ZD410 USB connected to Print Server over the network. 


Procedure

  1. Go to the Start menu, and choose Devices and Printers.
  2. On the top left select Add A Printer.

  3. Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer

  4. Create a new port

  5. Select the type of port, which will be a Standard TCP/IP Port, then click Next

  6. The “TYPE A PRINTER HOSTNAME OR IP ADDRESS” dialogue will appear. In the HOSTNAME OR IP ADDRESS field enter the Print Server IP address.

  7. In ADDITIONAL PORT INFORMATION REQUIRED, the printer is probably not connected to the network. It will ask you for a DEVICE TYPE, Standard or Custom. Leave the choice as STANDARD, PRINT SERVER, and select NEXT.

  8. Manually locate the printer driver by Manufacturer and Printer name.

  9. You've successfully installed the driver.
