Overview

The Profit Checker Report works like most Cloud Retailer reports with filtering, grouping and sorting.  In addition, this report uses the configured target margins to visualize where each product is in relation to the target AND you can update the Retail (or Sale) price directly from the report!


NOTE: This report requries the Profit Checker Report Package to be installed on your instance.  If you are missing the links in this article, open up a ticket with our Cloud Retailer helpdesk.


Procedure

  1. Log in to your Cloud Retailer Back Office
  2. From the left-hand menu, click Reports
  3. Click on Profit Checker Report from the Product List Information section
    • By default, the report will show all Active Products that are also Available for all Active Locations, you can use additional filters to narrow down your results
    • If the Retail margin column shows up in Red, then your current Retail margin is less than the configured target
    • If the Retail margin column shows up in Green, then your current Retail margin is at or greater than the configured target
    • If you click within the Retail price column, you will be able to update the Retail price for the Product directly
    • If the Sale margin column (hidden by default) shows up in Red, then your current Sale margin is less than the configured target
    • If the Sale margin column (hidden by default)  shows up in Green, then your current Sale margin is at or greater than the configured target
    • If you click within the Sale price column (hidden by default) , you will be able to update the Sale price for the Product directly
    • If you click within the Sale start column (hidden by default) , you will be able to update the Sale start for the Product directly
    • If you click within the Sale end column (hidden by default) , you will be able to update the Sale end for the Product directly
