Barcode scans at transaction but not in item lookup

Overview

When scanning a barcode, it will be added to the transaction, but the price check feature (scanning a barcode in the item search window) does not work.


Procedure

  1. Scan the barcode in the scanner/decoder tool
  2. verify there is no space after the <STX> and the barcode see example of a bad barcode result below
