Joining a customer to an existing loyalty program

Overview

Occasionally, there will be situations where multiple customers might like to share loyalty points. An example would be a couple who shops separately, or 2 employees from a local restaurant using separate customer accounts but sharing loyalty points.


The Cloud Retailer Loyalty program features the ability for multiple customers to share a common loyalty membership. This will enable you to track purchases separately while also issuing Loyalty points and rewards to a shared pool of points. As a result of this, you could market separately to one customer based on their specific buying preferences.


Procedure

  1. Go to a customer who you're looking to join to an existing program/customer
  2. Scroll down to "Join current customer to program" and select your program to join before clicking "Join to program"
  3. You may also search for an existing customer and hit "Join to membership(s)"
  4. Hit the orange save in the top right corner
