Overview
This article speaks to the detailed sales report in Cloud Retailer versions 4.6 and newer.
What is special about the detailed sales report in 4.6?
has Cloud Retailer's Detailed Sales Report now two new columns, designed to give you more clarity into how much you are making on a product you sell.
The new columns are:
- Original Sold Price
- This column indicates the price of the product BEFORE the 3.5% dual price increase on the product is applied
- This column indicates the price of the product BEFORE the 3.5% dual price increase on the product is applied
- Sold Price
- This column indicates the price of the product WHEN the transaction is completed
- This column indicates the price of the product WHEN the transaction is completed
- Sold Price Adjustment
- This column indicates the amount we changed the price of the product when some or all of it is paid via credit card
When you sell a product, and it is paid with a credit card while using our Dual Pricing package, Cloud Retailer increases the amount paid via card by 3.5%. We then have a process that runs in the background every twenty minutes that calculates the product's original sold price vs the adjusted price.
When a sale is made with Dual Pricing, the calculations on the Detailed Sales Report are made every twenty minutes.
We offer Dual Pricing for two reasons:
- Dual Pricing helps you take control of your credit card fees by asking the customer to pay the processing fee.
- As a Cloud Retailer customer, using our Dual Pricing package, the extra 3.5% also pays for the technology you use in the store. Dual Pricing eliminates the following fees/costs:
- Standard Cloud Retailer Subscription fee
- Free Credit Card terminals
- Bulletproof Warranty
- ESET Antivirus
- Four hours of service time per quarter
- Card Defender fee
